BLACK WIDOW

INTRODUCTION

MARVEL’s 24^th MCU[1] film will feature for the first time Natasha Romanoff alias BLACK WIDOW in the main role. Black widow movie, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Motion Pictures, promises to be another big box office success.

 

FILMING

The shooting started in May 2019 in Norway and continues in June at the Pinewood Studios. Finals scenes were filmed in Budapest and Morocco. Filming ended in October 2019. The release date is scheduled for May 1^st, 2020 in the USA.

 

CAST

Scarlett Johansson will star in her role as Natasha Romanoff, one of the BLACK WIDOW.

Florence Pugh will play side by side with Scarlett Johansson by interpreting Yelena Belova, one of her “sisters”, members of the Black Widow.

Rachel Weisz will take on the feature of Melina Vostokoff, sister-figure to Romanoff and Belova, who also trained in the RED ROOM [2] as a Black Widow.

David Harbour, alias Alexei Shostakov, will wear his RED GUARDIAN [3]costume to fight alongside Romanoff, Belova, and Vostokoff.

O-T Fagbenle will take back his Rick Mason role, an ally of Romanoff, member of the S.H.I.E.L.D[4]

William Hurt will come back as THADDEUS ROSS, the United States Secretary Of State and a former U.S. Army General.

Robert Downey Jr will also be a part of the movie as Tony Stark/ or if you prefer, IRON MAN.

The TASKMASTER[5] will appear in the film, but as for now, we don’t know who will interpret it.

A rumor says that Jeremy Renner and Samuel L Jackson will also be in the film, taking back their role as Clint Barton, alias Hawkeye and the one and only one, Nick Fury.

 

PREMISE

Between the CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR events, Natasha Romanoff is on the run. She will try to find help from 2 of her “sisters” in the BLACK WIDOW program, Yelena and Melina, as well as longtime friend, Alexei, RED GUARDIAN. They will then be involved in a plot involving the other members of the Black Widow as well as an enemy of the past, TASKMASTER, who has the gift of being able to reproduce the movements of his opponent.

 

COMMENT

I’m so excited! I can’t wait to see this movie! It’s so rare to see a woman superheroes as the main character of a film! For once, Natasha Romanoff will be the star and not only Allie for the AVENGERS or else! Time to switch roles!
